%X The region to the northwest of the city of Unaí - MG, outcrops of rocks Vazante, Bambuí and Canastra groups and presents a large amount of lineaments, making it an area provides the studies of such features, in order to better structural and geological understanding of southern Brasília Belt. For the extraction of lineaments were used images of the OLI sensor, the Landsat-8 satellite, in the RGB 543 composition and the Digital Elevation Model (DEM), achieved on the basis of the SRTM images (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission), both images were acquired free and processed in ENVI 5.1 software. The lineaments were drawn in the ArcGis 10.3 software, the rosettes generated by extensions Easy Calculate and Polar Plots of the ArcGis software and the histograms for the Microsoft Excel software. The lineaments were separated into drainage lineaments and relief lineaments, where it was possible to check that both have a directional trend NW-SE, however this direction is clearer in the relief lineaments, while that the drainage lineaments has a pattern more diffuse. The products obtained in this study are of great importance for the prior understanding of structural and geology of an area, and becomes a useful tool for future procedures, to assist the field activities and build the geological map of the area analyzed.
